Fry's parents...

So if Fry became his own grandfather in "Roswell That Ends Well", why does his mom have  the spiky orange hair and not his dad. His dad and Yancy both have brown hair but his mom is orange even though his mom is not Fry's granddaughter. Has anyone else noticed that?

I wonder how Fry's parents used to discipline him and Yancy.  Wonder if they ever had any family time together like watch movies or go to the mall.   I'll bet they favored Yancy over Philip.

Wait a minute! Fry's dad Yancy, named his son or fry's brother yancy because of his the dad yancy's dad, but  fry's so called grandma was having an affair with Eugen or however is name was. So is Fry's mom Fry's son?

no.  Fry's dad is also his son.  Fry gets his red hair from his mother, but apparently didn't pass it on to Yancy Senior, which is why Yancy's hair is brown like Mildred's.

Red hair is recessive, so if Mildred had that recessive gene, then her son (Yancy sr.) would also have it because Fry had both of the recessive genes as seen through his red hair. So Mildred's son had one recessive red gene by 50% chance, his red-headed wife obviously had two. With that combination there was a also a 50% chance that Fry would have red hair. Hence he has red hair and Yancy Jr. has brown hair. Did I do that right?
