But who says that Bender and Leela didn't stay the the time Fry and the professor were gone in Italy and had a nice vacation for a bit over 2 month?

And by Lethal Inspection they only just came back?

Bender probably got endless amusement telling tourist children that if you can find the pennies in the fountain, you can keep them.

And if that doesn't work for you, Bender could have gone back to Italy in-between both episodes.

If the Bone Vampire is extinct, how did that farmer guy get the egg?

The Professor says: "The Bone Vampire is now extinct on its home planet.

So it might as well live on other places.

And it's also possible that the last one laid that egg prior to being killed. We don't know how long they take to hatch.

Is it OOC that Fry wanted to hatch the egg (even if to consume it later) and Leela wanted to eat it? I can't decide on it. At first I thought maybe...but not it doesn't bother me so much.

I know that's not really a goof, but it seemed like a recheck of the characters.

I think it's not really OC for Leela.
After all, despite of Leela's love for animals, they didn't turn her into a vegetarian.

despite of Leela's love for animals,

She blasted a Desert Muck Leech, infact, the last Desert Muck Leech, she murdered Zoidberg in Cornwood (he was like an animal/creature there) and she tried to stomp on Mr. Peppy. She eats baby Omicronian babies. And Buggalo.

She loves her animals alright. :D

Yep, and bothered about collecting all of them on Vergon 6, saved Nibbler from the crew, attacked the desert much leech only in defence, stopped eating Omnicronians as soon as she found out what they where, "The Bird-Bot a Alcatraz".

It's just that they didn't make Leela a too naive hardcore vegetarian goodmind, that's all.

Leela also said that eating meat is fine as long as it's not an intelligent animal, and that nobody cares what vegetarians do.

Something I was pondering, we never understood why Lynn murdered Bender...

I mean, he didn't leave her, he said that she moved, and he actually remembers her name and her mum, Bender is never like that, so why did she murder him?

Being a suicide booth surely doesn't help to develop a good personality and sanity.

If dating the Planet Express ship is anything to go by, Bender probably has a history of dating non anthropomorphic, featureless machines with female personalities and psychotic tendancies, and just pushing them over the edge into fullblown insanity.

Bender treats nearly all of his girlfriends like dirt, and doesn't let little things like them being dangerously psychotic and having lethal weapons at their disposal stop him.

Plus, I thought the "Last time you visited a sucide booth you ended up dating it for six months" followed by "How is Lynn by the way?" was the funniest part of the episode.

Once again, no belly button and now no chest.

Also, Zoidberg's outfit....looks like the back opening is undone and yet, there's still more material underneath it. lol

Same here, the eps are too entertaining, I'm not busy looking for goofs, I'm enjoying the ep. Although, I do look at the animation and whatnot on second/third/fourth/etc views, and on DVD. :hmpf:

Having spent many a year doing art at college and being told things like "Get it right", and "Nearly right isn't good enough", to see such examples being passed off as paid work in a program which will be re-watched for countless years to come irks me somewhat. I still enjoy the eps don't get me wrong, but I'm also a sucker for good animation. The animation in Futurama is one of the aspects of the program which charmed me initially...

Yeah <3 I love me some half naked Fry.   Watch Mother's Day again, where you get to see him sweaty, shirtless and with some extremely nice muscle definition.

It is strange that someone appears to have stolen his nipples and belly button.  I blame Granny Hester, that wicked old dame.

That's a valid point, Otis, and I'm sure I'd share your irritation if I too studied art seriously.

The only other explanation is Fry has a secret clone, well that would explain the belly button at least...

I'm trying to study art (I go to university for it), but my artwork is still very hit and miss.
It could be the clone, or it could be Sparky, but this looks like the work of Granny Hester, the Queen of All Wizards.

The first time the spinning wheel of axes lands near the tea kettle, it is facing this way:

Then when it rolls down the rig, it's facing the other direction:

Looks like another animation fuck-up with the first capture. What possible use would the axes have facing the wrong way? The second frame is correct. What is going on in the animation department for this show these days :hmpf:...

As said, it could easily have changed direction or perhaps have done a few 'jumps' from rail to rail, causing it to spin different ways as it went on.

Really? In the first frame grab it's resting on the green piece of metal, and in the second frame grab it's just about to come off it, but it hasn't left it yet. I don't see how it could jump from rail to rail and spin different ways as it was already on it :hmpf:...

Yeah, it landed that way and was stationary. When the water was evaporated away, it started rolling down facing the opposite direction. (The logical direction, it landed wrong in the first place.)
