In the episode " Hell is other Robots" how come when they go through the electric storm, Fry's hair is the only one that sticks up  :p I know Leela's is in a pony tail so its a little harder but shouldn't it at least have stuck up a little bit?  :)

"Real" reason: It's just funnier on Fry, because he's a guy and guys are stupid. (That's not me, that's teevee.)

"Plausible Bull****" reason: Some hair is more prone to do that than others.

"Weapons-Grade Balonium" reason: Anti-static hairspray is an important part of Leela's mission-preparation grooming regimen. Fry's grooming regimen is putting on underwear, then pants.

I'll go with the Plausible Bull****.
We did an experiment in science one year when we had one of those static electricity things, People with thicker hair had a harder time getting their hair to stick up. Of course, by the laws of science, I would have to say the "Weapons-Grade Balonium" reason would make the most sense.

No she probably does have such a spray!
He ponytail already defys gravity by not touching her back, and she has been known to use things that resist the forces (her bra held unlike Zapps girdle on the high gravity planet)... so why not this?

If the ship is metal none of them should be affected; the ship would be a Faraday’s Cage.

I was thinking a combination of Oni and Torquemada.
