The Black/white guy is definitely from a star trek episode. It starred Frank Gorshin. It was a great episode about racism.

I just noticed that the alien on the far left has basically the same style cap that Henry Aaron would have worn in 1972. His bat is on the wrong shoulder though.

Well that orange guy has the star trek logo thingy, isn't that more relevant than pokemon?

And the blue guy is wearing a gown and has the Zelda logo on his head!

That much I can see. Hitmonchan is a guy, though, so Leela might not want such a representative. Why would Fry be a chimchar? And I don't understand your thoughts on Amy either haha.

I'd say... Amy could be a Doduo, perhaps, or a Farfetch'd. Fry might want to be a Floatzel maybe. Leela... I have no idea. And what about Hermes?

fry is a chimchar because of his red hair and monkeylike mindset... amy is a weavile because they are both awesome!! and hitmonchan is the girl one hitmonlee is the guy one...hermes is a ditto that normally takes the form of a snorlax, that way he can flatten out for limboing! what is bender though...

Bender can be a steel type of some sort; one of the robotic looking ones.  Leela can be a purple monkey dishwasher an aipom, because they're purple.  Amy should be a skitty.

for me i'd make amy chansey, the ears seem similar to amy's hair and it's also very cute ^^

leela would be espeon (the dot on it's head makes me think of leelas one eye also it's got purple fur!)

professor i prefer hoothoot to noctowl

bender definately magnezone because of the antena

you know... that's pretty good... i still think the professor should be a noctowl, 'cuz they look older,  but i can agree with the rest of  them. chansey fits better for a young amy though... but i won't complain anymore than that...

That's not Kingler, that's Krabby!

But, Zoidberg's more suited as a Krabby. Kingler kind of has a "crown" that looks similar to a Decapodian jazz- something Zoidberg isn't exactly "showing off".

A few other changes. Amy would be better as a Skitty. Just look at her eyes and tell me that's not Asian and cute.



And, well, I see Leela as a Kangaskhan. Authoritative and violent, yet protective and maternal.

I dunno, I think Espeon appeals to me more as a representation of Leela because it's so sleek and sexy. Kangaskan is huge, masculine, beefy... Leela DOES have a soft side, I think, even if she shouldn't be doing her makeup by herself.

may i ask why it is important to compare futurama with pokemon?
