X-mas year wrong?

Anyone notice that in the episode they were celebrating X-mas for year 3000? I thought that Fry 'arrived' on Jan 31 2999, eg after x-mas?. Or did the date change for X-mas?

OK, spelled out, it means: Christmas 3000 is at the end of the year 3000.

Let's make a visual timeline, just in case you're still confused.

January 1, 2000, 0:01 - Fry falls into cryo chamber
December 31, 2999 - Fry wakes up
January 1, 3000 - November, 3000 Episodes "The Series Has Landed" up to "A Head in the Polls" take place
December 24, 3000 - Events of "X-Mas Story" take place[/list]
