An animator went to the color bar and selected Green.

wise ass.

We dont know how much time passed between when Dwight and Cubert begged their fathers to help and when they went to go retrieve the papers from the moon.  They could have had time to repaint the ship[quote

No, the professor has a fondness of green apparently.

And time apparently doesn't matter. The important thing in the storyline is that the main plot was resolved. Who wants to know about the ship re-painting? Other than you...

This is a pathetic question. In  cartoons, insignificant changes are normally back to normal near the end of the episode and he would have changed the ship back to the original colour as it had the Awesome Express logo and colour on it. It isn't a goof or that it magically changed back and as Future Shock said, in all tv shows time is skipped to get the important scenes. It wouldn't be good if it was a reality show where you saw Hermes filing papers all day.... I rest my case.
