Here's another theory.

No one's memory would be blanked out, except for Fry's memory of him being special and all of that stuff.  I mean, come to think of it, didn't the Number 9 Man tell Fry a lot of stuff in ITWGY, that he didn't know before?

Also, Fry's memory was blanked out at the end of "The Why of Fry", so that he wouldn't know anything about what he did, or the events that took place in that episode.  So I believe if the writers blank anyone's memory (keep in mind, I really don't think they would do this), it would be Fry's memory.

I hope that they keep everyone's memory intact and have Nibbler play a more prominent role as a speaking character in most episodes. They need an extra character now that Wash and Book are dead.
...Wait, I'm confusing myself now.

Good point coldangel_1  ;)

That's goes to be the stupidest speculation I've ever heard.

Hey, I'm not the guy who said that, I was just quoting someone else said, who said that.

 That's a very bad sentence by me.

Anyhoo all aside it does look like the Express Building's Tower, as well as Nibbler's Shadow. Who knows? It could be a price of machinery? Again who knows?

Who knows? They might see it Future Shock. And it's something they would probably reveal for all us nerdlingers out there, including me in the; deep, dark, murky, depths of the abyss of Humans and other.

Anyhoo, look at this I discovered.......

I really think they're just going to pop out next the Planet Express or just somewhere nearby in space.  If they do the latter then everyone will look out with fear and wonder at this bold new universe and then realize they're right next to Earth.

Theme song. New season begins.  Glorious celebration. Etcetera.

Ya because they have a season to think about and to plan for.  I hope they concentrate more on the stories( and the involvement of nibbler's shadow) right off the bat!

Maybe that's how the new season will start!  After the wormhole, they'll have a Nibbler-centric adventure!  I do believe that's Nibbler's shadow!

I wouldn't mind seeing more of Nibbler's homeworld.  Especially Bender's interactions with the population.

Yes, or perhaps Farnsworth's would be the most interesting by my point of view.

Here's something I uploaded a poorly done video on youtube.

Has anyone asked in-- Edit I have asked now, waiting for reply. Sorry if this was a seemingly pointless dig up.

"Submit Your Questions for the Cast and Creators of Futurama"

Near the end of Into The Wild Green Yonder was that Nibbler's Shadow on the botton left corner inside the Planet Express Ship's Cockpit?

---

So if no one hasn't asked go for it, wonder who will be first?

Edit: If it was already asked did they say anything back?

As far as I'm aware, it means nothing, DXC said it was just a little something extra for the diehard fans who had noticed his shadow in the pilot episode. It meant nothing at the time, whether they decide to turn it into something is another thing.

Possibly, but I'd say chances of it happening are very slim. I think GoT was the last episode Nibblonians play much of a role in and that this shadow, like Nutmeg said above, was just something extra for diehard fans that has no other significance.

I think it may have been an undercover robot that went in there before the whole Zapp chase began. Too bad he was destroyed though, in Rebirth. It looks like a robotic creature. It looks too perfectly aligned to be Nibbler.

Actually now that I think some more about it, I'm assuming there is no real, mysterious reason that they put his shadow in there.

I think the actual reason that it's there is simply because he wasn't in the crowd shot of everyone saying, "Go! Go! Go!", and adding his shadow was the quickest way they could include Nibbler in the scene without having to completely reanimate it. Plus, as somebody else said, it's probably also a little nod to the Fans of the show who remember it from SP3000 and TWOF.

Proof? It's certainly the shape of Nibbler.

Yeah, we all know that Nibbler wasn't there. Think about the events of "Rebirth".

Not being killed in the crash doesn't mean he wasn't there right up until the crash. Remember, he can "eat" himself out of the universe, as evidenced in BBS. Besides which, DXC has stated somewhere or other that it was meant to be Nibbler's shadow, and that it wasn't meant to be anything other than nerd bonus (ie: a callback to the pilot).

I don't see why this is still being discussed, seeing as the above is pretty a definite once-and-for-all, word-of-god answer.

Exactly, DXC said they simply just put Nibbler's shadow there in honor of the first episode, since at the time they thought this could be the end forever.

It really means nothing and probably makes little sense.
