 Did that Fry start to fade because when nibbler got the Scooty Puff Sr. he never was trapped in the infosphere, therefore that fry was a paradox

Normally the process of changing the past would create a duplicate alternate timeline in which the new version of Fry lives, but the old timeline exists still as an alternate universe in which the old Fry starves to death in the pocket dimension with the ensnared Brainspawn.

However that would be the way the real universe works. Alterations in causality have been shown to work in unusual ways within the Futurama universe - a single unified timeline that can still be altered to a certain degree before breakages in causality begin to have negative effects. Cartoon quantum physics... peh.

I think it was just a alter in the timeline. He went back in time and told him Scooty Puff Junior sucks. Change that to Mr. Senior, and the timeline is altered. Thus, creating a paradox. That version of Fry isn't dead, just missing thanks to the timeline.
I'm confusing myself explaining this.
