sorry if someone pointed this out but, isn't there supposed to be more contestants other than just Fry and his friends? If so how come only Fry and his friends go to the factory?

Because they only hid one bottle cap. They never said anything about multiple caps.

Really? I didn't pay that much attention but i assumed since its based on Charlie and the Chocolate factory (they had multiple winners) and because I don't remember saying there was only one winner that there would be more ><
