I did a search of this and couldn't find anything like it so I decided to start a new thread...
This has baffled me for quite some time now, in A Flight to Remember, Kiff and Amy meet for the first time by Mr. and Mrs. Wong introducing him to her saying "We found you a new man, he's a space captain." Kiff then picks Amy up and proceeds into the escape pod while kissing her.
In Amazon Women in the Mood, Kiff is desperately shy and can't even talk to her on the phone. So how was he so cool and manly in AFTR and so drastically shy in AWITM??
Also, in Where the Buggalo Roam, Amy introduces Kiff to her parents, upon which Mr. Wong says "I have instant dislike of him", but this dosen't make sense because the Wongs introduced Kiff to Amy in the first place in AFTR... Didn't they?? and they ceratinly liked him then...? Seems fishy to me...

They liked kiff cause they seen he was a captain. But you're right. It doesn't make sense how she introduces kiff to them in WTBR. Hmm, this is a good blooper.

A Captains badge is like a deep voice/long hair, you meet somone with it and it's all you remember of them. If its not there the next time you meet them you won't recognise that person. So amy had to re-introduce them, as he is no longer a captain they dont like him.

Oh and Kiff is only cool and confident at first because its a life or death situation and he knows he loves amy so he can't risk dying without winning her over. In normal circumstances he's shy and bashfull 'cause he loves her.  ;)

Case closed.

Yet another opportunity for a shameless plug:

My Kif story was written to help "fix" some of that.

(But she didn't "introduce" Kif to her parents at the barbecue...remember she said "Mom, Dad, you remember Kif?"  They act like they don't remember him, but they've probably just put him out of their minds... )

The only interest Leo and Inez might have in any man male being hinges on the likelihood of Amy producing grandchildren with him.

When Amy lost interest in Kif, so did Leo and Inez.

Oh, BTW: Shiny, you pimp you!
For a good story, I grant you...

I agree with what Sal said.

Also:

Amy and Kif
Is Amy just using Kif?
The Amy/Kif relationship makes no sense!

all of these are in the "Human Resource Department", since both Amy and Kif are characters.  ;)
