What is up with Bender's birth and childhood ect?

Mothers Day: He has a picture of himself a month old, and he looks eactly the same.

Bendin' in the Wind: He remebers his birth and looks the same as usual.

BUT!

in Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles: He grows shorter, gets braces, a weird swirly thing on his head and strange 'ears'.

I mean, come on!
