In luck of the fryish we see Fry as a teen and his hair is sorta long and isn't in that style he has as an adult (all the episodes). When we see Fry as a teen in Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles fry's hair never looks like it did in Luck of the Fryish. It always looks the same except for when he's a baby. Anyone else notice this??

I noticed this too, actually....

We did see Fry's hair in it's "normal" style in TMLH (think back when Fry was talking about growing up together with Leela), but the times we didn't, Fry's hair was either "wet" (the rejuvinating tar), or he was wearing something more formal than his casual outfit; I think he styled it that way for the date.

When Fry was a teenager, it looked like his hair was in a mullet.  I, too noticed the looks of Fry's hair in both episodes.  In "Luck of The Fryish", the flashbacks had Fry's hair in a mullet, but in "Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles", his hair as a teenager was normal, and slicked back a little bit.

I thought teenage Fry looked better with the slicked back hair, than the mullet.

I doubt he would have the same person cutting is hair since the scenes are 1000+ years apart. In TMLH his hair is closer to what he usually has as an adult.

Nah.  Fry's afro after Bender steers the crew through the Coalsack Nebula just so he can jack on to the electrical disturbance, that's Fry's funniest hairstyle.

Just too silly.  Especially when Fry's lecturing Bender.

lol yeah forgot about tht. Oh yeah and another point on the 'teenage mutant leela' episode (this should be in 'the goof thread' but....) why does bender get younger when he falls in the tar which bliisters the age right off because he's a robot and thus tecnically doesn't age.

Well, according to the Professor (from The Neutral Planet website):

Farnsworth: It seems the Youthasizing tar was saturated with time-altering Chronitons. A thin layer is still stuck to our DNA as well as Bender's robo, or "RNA".

Which is of course a crock.  But it's a funny, dorky crock!

But to get back on topic -- sort of -- as the Professor youthasizes he goes through a great '70s afro too.  Obviously funny hair must run in the family.

And the line "Think, you disco duck, think!" is a Farnsworth classic.
