I don't know if any one else noticed this but during the part where the robot devil is singing that song right before the verse with the beastie boys the robot devil is holding bender's arm. (the arm is not attaced to bender's body) Then the robot devil kicks bender down this hole (the robot devil is still holding bender's arm) when Bender lands on the other end of that hole thing his arm is attachedto his body again. I don't know if I wrote this to confusing, hope you can understand.  :D

In "I Second That Emotion" Benders arms are able to move around on their own. In a lot of other episodes it seems that even when body parts are unattached, Bender and the part can still communicate. So the arm just probably scampered off and reattached itself.

Also noticed tonight in the first scene of "Bending in the Wind" that Bender was spontaneously singing a folk song without a magnet on his head. It might clarify the mystery of why he does or doesn't sing folk songs when magnets are on various body parts.

That happened on Space Pilot 3000 as well. Both of Bender's arms fall off and he 'magically' reattachs them again. Weird.

Isn't that the section of the episode where they cut out a whole couple of verses from the Robot Hell song? Which would explain why they skip from Level two to Level five and any other small inconsistancies that occured there. OOOOoorrrr...magic. Magic's good too.

While we're on the subject of Hell is Other Robots, they said on the commentary that Nibbler gets left behind but the reason how he got back with the PE crew would be revealed in a later season.

I haven't seen the reason anywhere so if someone could clarify it for me that would be great.

well, it shouldn't be that hard for one of the smartest beings in the universe to figure out how to get from new jersey to new new york, right, so how i see it, it's weird to even have an explanation for it.

I assume on the commentary, they were remarking on the minor glitch that they never explain how Nibbler gets home.  (He doesn't fly with Fry and Leela on butterfly-Bender.)

But if you were Nibbler, born of a race that existed before the Big Bang _and_ the Big Brains, had lived over one thousand years, and had manipulated your way from Vergon 6 to Earth -- then, I think, a short jaunt from New Jersey to New New York shouldn't be much of a problem.

In short, what Naxon said.

probably, he does have a little space ship, he could control it on rc, get it to him, and fly out, no glitch, or something more tecnical, or less.

Why apologize?  Some of us, like me, are teh gay.  Granted, most folks here are not.  But it's not like it's an insult or anything.

Anyhow, back to the topic....

If you have the 4th/5th Season DVD, you'll have heard in the commentary about "The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings".  If not, or if (like me) you didn't listen too closely for a while, you'll notice that the Robot Devil is conducting Hell's Robot Band in the intro to the song from "Hell is Other Robots".

So who here caught that the first time?  The second time?  The fifth time?  Or did you have to be hit over the head with it as I did before you caught on?

I caught it the first time, but I think I may have watched HiOR shortly before the series finale in anticipation.

That, and I'd memorized the song by heart years prior....
