Nixon's position

In "A head in the polls" Nixon becomes president, but what does he do before then? He's in the first espisode, ordering cops around and he sends the crew to get ice on "big piece of garbage" (where it seems that he already IS the president).

I hope this question hasn't been asked before.

He sent them to Comet Halley in the 4ACV episode "Crimes of the Hot".

Mayor Poopenmeyer sent them to the trashteroid in "A Big Piece of Garbage".

I assume he was just acting crazy in SP3k.

He was nothing more than a head in a shelf of the head museum. Well he was a special head, since he stood in the President's shelf as President No. 37 of the US.

That he went crazy on new years eve 2999... well he still was a president, if not the actually one. And beside that he was attacked by Fry, so i gues Smitty and URL just followed him.
