Jealousy

I don't know if it has been discussed before

however, when Leela dates a man, Fry always gets jealous. Obvious, because he loves her. But there's only one exception, there is one man who is in love with Leela, Fry is never jealous on. That man is Zapp Brannigan. I mean she even slept with him, and he doesn't in the least get jealous when they meet again. He doesn't even react on it when he makes her proposals.

Would it be because he knows she doesn't like him?

maybe cuz he hears all the time how much she hates him, so he knows he has no shot w/ her and therefore is not a threat.

Yes, what's proabably going on in Fry's head is: That poor soul. That poor poor soul... or maybe Sheesh, did he have to come at a time like this? I hate listening to Leela scream...

Or maybe he's thinking Hoo boy, the abattoir will be getting more business from Bender soon enough.

maybe cos fry wants a relationship with leela like the mayors aid and adalai and not just like sex like big Z

Or maybe it is because he knows that Zapp is ugly and that Leela hates him anyways so why bother getting all worked up over it?

As said before, why get upset if you know somebody is not a threat?  The only thing that Leela likes about Zapp is taht she can beat the hell out of him and get away with it.

It is probably because Fry knows that the only reason that Leela slept with Zapp was pity, and he probably wants it to mean something when and if he ever sleeps with her.

She hates zapp and it's pretty obvious to everyone, even fry lol.
