The issue in question is #11, story Fallen Flanders and the release date was July 95, which I know is long before the premiere of Futurama. But in one frame, Lisa reads a book (whilst she, Bart and Rainier are in the woods) and there is an alien on the back of the book, who looks almost identical to Kif except he is wearing farming gear. I don't have a scanner, I'll try to find it on Google Images but I highly doubt I will find it.

Except Kif have a higher head, a receding forehead and no nose.

Looks more like the alien from "Homer the Great".

Kif has a nose.... but the nostrils are smaller... He has the ears as well, but without the crease-line.

But how could they know that kif was going to be in futurama?  Unless they went back and looked for ideas for aliens in futurama, its just a coincidense.

Well, lets face it, we'll do anything for money... I think they may have liked him in Futurama and wanted to give him a break away from Zapp... and a nice little guest appearance in Simpson Comics.

Don't you worry about spam, let me worry about blank.

Lee, dude... It was from '95... So Futurama wasn't all too developed at that time, so to speak (type).

yeah, i mean it could just be an early drawing of him, the early drawings could look completely different. for example, an early drawing of bender had antennaes for ears, the bender we know has no eas.
