In the episode "The Tale of Two Santas" when Bender was accused of being Santa Claus and went to Death Row, we see the Robot Devil was in a cell as well!

Was the Robot Devil going to be executed as well?  If so, how did he get out and go back to Robot Hell?  Did he escape perhaps?  Did he get exonorated?
