How in the world could Enos have been Fry's grandfather when in that episode, "Luck of the Fryish" in the beginning when Fry's Dad was telling Yancy about his namesake Grandfather? Then we're introduced to Enos in Roswell That Ends Well, then Enos dies and Fry and Mildred get together and then Fry's his own grandfather.
Maybe "Yancy" was Enos's middle name? Or maybe Enos was from Fry's mother's side of the family. Fry's mother's father that is? A lot of speculation has been done on this, I know. I've seen some people say that Enos was Fry's mother's father on other Futurama pages. My guess is Fry's grandfather's full name was "Enos Yancy Fry".
...but his last name is Fry...so he can't be Fry's mothers father...because if Fry is Fry's (Phillip J. Fry) last name, he would have got it from his dad...so if his mother's last name was Fry and so was his father's (before they got married) then that's a severe sick case of inbreeding...
