Why was Jackie Anderson playing for the planet express crew in blernsball against the aliens when she dosn't work for planet express?

Am I wrong? But as far as I know Jackie Anderson didn't play for PE against the Zignoids.

She was seen during Leela's signing session in the pizzaria, and later in the game between the NNY Mets (Leela's team) and the Boston Poindexters (Jackie's team).
