Where is Fry going???

This has prolly been posted here before... Sorry. BUT......

In the episode The Honking, after Leela welds Bender to the wall in his CLOSET(?), she and Fry walk out of the apartment building. Why is Fry leaving and where is he leaving to?? The madness!

Also, when Bender turns into the car, it shows his "closet" being right inside to door, he doesn't go through his room first.

Oh, I don't know. That thread was from the dark ages before the release of the Season Two DVD, and it only dealt with one of opera ghost's questions.

The first question is answered in a deleted scene. Before Leela said that bit about making her dinners and freezing them, Fry originally said, "Well, it's late. I guess I'll go listen to that homeless guy in the port authority. He makes some good points."

The second one is a little harder to explain without blaming the wizards. Floor plans are pretty consistently inconsistent (heh) on the show. Maybe someone has a better explanation than that, but I don't.
