I don't know if anybody has posted this yet it didn't come up when I searched....
In 'I Second That Emotion', Bender is jealous about Nibbler so Leela makes him bake a birthday cake for him. In the show the cake actually looks good and doesn't look like anything Bender would bake. But the thing is Bender doesn't get the water and LSD mixture until 'The 30% Iron Chef'. I mean what is up with that?

1. He was trying so hard to make a bad cake that it actually was good.
2. Looks can be deceiving.  Nibbler can and will eat anything.
