As you all well know Bender brakes out in folk singing when touched by magnets but in "A flight to remember" his bow tie is a magnet and yet nothing happens to him. So I was wondering if there was any particular reason for this

Yes, I think the tie from "A flight to remeber" as well as the beard from "Lesser of two evil" where attached to his chin and beside of that too weak to interfear his inhibition unit. Magnets attachted to his upper head or really strong, do so.

Check out the Bender Threadwink

Well it doesn't infect him, because it's on his chin/neck, not the side of his head.

I don't think the weakness of the magnet has anything to do with it.

Yes, this will be closed soon.  Just not as fast as a Topic on "It's got a TV"
