In the episode 'Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles' whenever Leela and Fry are racing with her freinds, when they fly past the cinema, to the very left you can see El Chubaneebray, who bender flushed to the sub sewer, how odd...

Perhaps that is a promotional statue about the upcoming movie "El Chupenebe: The Legend Of Bender. (Based on a true story)"

It is next to the theater, so it's a possibility.

But we'll never know, will we?

Thanks, but we allready know, in fact we've known since March 2003.

And the El Chubanebrey moved when the boats raced past it, so it's not a statue. Most likely he simply found his way back from the subsewers to the sewers.

In "300 Big Boys", after Bender steals the cigar and we trace the wire from the camera to the police, we fly through the sewers and see the leg guy being chased by El Chubaneebray.

El Chubaneebray is alive and well, my friends.

So, is this El Chubanebrey the same one, or a relative? I'm not sure how he could get back from the subsewers, and I don't see why there would be only one of him/her/it or whatever.

It's simple: During the great depression of 2940, Moms Friendly Robot Company sales were low. Many people couldn't afford robots. So she developed the legend of El Chubanebrey to scare people into buying a self-defense robot. However, they didn't buy into it. So she genetically engineered a single El Chubanebrey and then cloned him a bunch of times (it's cheaper to clone but you already knew that). They were then dispatched to major cities around the world and beyond. When one died or was flushed into the sub-sewers, as it so happened in New New York, he would be replaced promptly. And so, that is the story of El Chubanebrey.

Perhaps, El Chubanebrey's son is lurking in the sewers, waiting patiently for the Futurama 'team' to return so he can avenge his father/mother's death once and for all....That would explain his appearences whenever Fry, Leela, or Bender are nearby-as for the leg guy, maybe El Chubanebrey 2 just terrorises his to release pent up anger?

And i think he found his way home as even though Nibbler, Fry, Bender and Leela got flushed (sort of) they found their way home!

I beg the differ. Her question wasn't on topic, the topic being has El Chubannebray returned. This is the "Re-check/Weird scene" forum, not the "Answer my questions which could have been answered by searching Google for 5 seconds instead of posting a useless comment" forum.

Actually her question was helpfull, this thread is about El Chubannebray, the question was answered and then mint stated something about El Chubannebray on the thread about him which is still realavent, considering the question was answered the thread was open to another question or statement which was posted by mint!
