Godfellows

Okay, I looked around and didn't see anything on this. In "Godfellows" when Fry is introduced to Helper there are some strange sort of humorous beeping noises that you can hear right after Helper stops talking & before the next scene comes on. What are they for? Is that some joke I don't get?

I think it's just a joke, that Helper is kinda dense (in the metaphorical sense), and klunky.  Maybe to give the idea that he's low quality, or something.  It's a surprisingly cheesy sound effect for Futurama, but I found it funny nonetheless.

I thinks its just because they couldn't think of anything mabey,and actually you can hear a series of diffent clangs and other noises while hes talking. Heres a relevant quote off the I dated a robot commentaries:

Is the title of this episode a parody of the movie title "Goodfellas"? I think it is, but I just want some confirmation.

Changing back in this direction, they may have been used to lighten the mood of the situation. The quote from David X is true it does distract you.

Whenever I saw it I never actually noticed the clanking noises. Now I do, though.

Same they never actually got Deluxor up an running. Wooden Bender great, Gold Bender likewise, but I would've loved to seen what they came up with for Deluxor.
