It's just you.  There was a venus flytrap under the table for a joke that never got used (they mention this in the commentary).

There was obviously a rogue nibblonian in the trash can that wanted to control the universe as seen in Jurrasic Bark.

Also I think the third eye is some form of alien genitalia.
