I checked if this was done before and I didn't find anything so here it goes: In the episode Mother's Day,all robots made in the Friendly Robot Company went aganst humans. But after looking at all the robots there I saw that Robot Santa wasn't one of them. Wasn't he made in the Friendly Robot Company?

P.S.
If this was already done, and I didn't look good enough, please feel free to close it.

he is the most evil robot so the revolution would have had no change on him
the episode was not set at christmas so putting in santa would confuse and maybe anger people.
if all the robots on the robot planet hated humans would they kill mom... yes they would because she doesn't produce every robot. how do i know well santa is older than mom hence who made him.
please noyone say a wizard did it

so who made the robots on the robot planet

every time you see something like that a wizard did it.

sapphires with those i could open the gates of garrish. that's all a wizard does in futurama

I think that Mom's brainwashing wave only affected robots on Earth.

The Santa robot was built in 2801 before mom was in charge of the robot factory, so Santa was not designed with an antenna and thus immune to mom’s remote control.

@Jerkberg: A wizard did it.

*Sigh* The Don't Feed the Trolls Act of 2002 requires me to add something relevant to this post.  I am a little surprised that Santa wasn't involved in the revolution, since human Santa, at least, is obviously Communist.  He wears red all the time, has a beard, gives presents to everyone (that meets arbitrary conditions, that is.)

However, I think the remote only worked on robots on Earth, and Santa never comes here except on Xmas.  There are several other non-Earth-based robots that don't show up: the Crushinator for example.

so who made the robots on the robot planet

Various people, I'm sure.  Since they apparently speak English, they're probably mostly from Earth.

I do think Beamer is right about Mom's control only extending to robots on Earth.  Her remote control probably wasn't strong enough for the signal to reach Neptune, let alone Chapek 5.

once again the robots on the robot planet would have been built before mom was in charge of the friendly robot factory and would be immune to moms control.

Also the robots would have been built by other robots, what human would design robots to hate humans. think about it

They were designed before all the bugs had been worked out with AI. It's a classic theme: Boy builds robot, robot hates boy, boy has to dispose of robot.

One other thing is:  The remote control might not have enough range to go out to the other planets.

Malfunctioning Eddie is not a Earth robot?

I got confused and thought the car dealership was on Mercury.  My mistake.  I'll edit so it makes sense to you people who have watched that ep more than once.

I move that all assertations that mom's friendly robot remote can't reach beyond earth are spurious, and without any basis except the posters imaginings, plus my cat smells nice and is pretty.

He's completely right....I think the question has been answered. When Farnsworth tells Fry about Robotic Santa he says "In 2801 the Friendly Robot Company built..." blah blah blah. Notice he doesn't say Mom's Friendly Robot Company.

Of course, one explanation why certain robots aren't seen would be that it's a big planet and we only see one small part of it.

But the Crushinator is in that episode. In one of the carnage scenes on the news they show the Crushinator with the lapdance robot from "The Lesser of Two Evils" rolling down the street together in front of the museum.
Not to bust a hole in your theory, I agree that the remote probably only works on Earth. Maybe she was just there to use the robot wash.

I think it would have been too distracting to the casual viewer if Robot Santa was there. And I guess the same applies to Crimes of the Hot.

Robot Santa couldn't have been controlled on Earth because he lives on Neptune. I doubt that Mom's remote would reach that far.
