I don't know if it was discussed before (and quite frankly I'm running out of time in this internet cafe to check), but - in Amazon women in the mood during the flashback on the titanic incident, you hear people screaming as the titanic goes through the black hole. Then again, in "A flight to remember", Leela actually says that they are the last people left on the ship. Any thoughts?

People screaming in terror at the sight of the ship, probably with all their fancy holiday posessions, being sucked into a singularity?

I thought she said it was the last lifeboat left.

It was Hermes who said everybody else had already left the ship. Don't know what the sound could be. The auto pilot, the coffe machine, other AI's built into the ship's systems, the bulkheads givng way, some weird time distortion phenomenon only associated with blac holes.

Another question about Amazon Women In The Mood (I've uploaded only that one episode to my cellphone for the entire 3 weeks trip in Europe, so I've seen it like a gazillion times already) - How come inside of the FemBot chamber inside the FemPuter there is a bed? robots don't need beds. Obviously she isn't expecting company (no other robots, she is disguising herself), why would there be a bed?

Also, if she is a FemBot, wouldn't she rather recieve booze instead of scented soaps and bath beads? I know it works better as a joke (being a Femputer and all), but if it's sence you're looking - it's not there.

For the wholesome, obligatory sex scene, of course.

Different robots might require different fuel. Hedonism Bot seems to be grape-powered - either that, or he's cutting out the middle man and making his own wine inside his body.

Robots are lazy so ofcourse she want a bed to sleep on. Just as Bender don't have to sit down while watching tv, but he still have made a Bender shaped imprint on the couch.

It could be for decoration, like bender in clothes.

It's not actually her cabin, she only booked it. And as anyone could have booked it, including humans etc., it has a bed. Or am I getting this wrong?

MrBurns, you're getting confused. We're talking about the Femputer now, not the Titanic. The Femputer never travelled via Titanic.

We're talking about the Femputer from 'Amazonian Women in the Mood', when Bender breaks open her compartment and there's a bed inside.

It was so that the fembot could sit on bender's lap and make the scene seem more 'cosy' and 'Intimate' or it could be that the fembot needed sleep likfe bender, although in "Bend Her" calculon said robots did not need sleep! hmmm oh well

Maybe robots need to be in a horizontal position while "interfacing".

It depends on the robot. Calculon doesn't sleep. Bender sleeps standing up. More modern robots probably sleep, because would you want a load of robots idle while you're in bed, wondering what to do?

Any "logical" explanation for the whole scented soaps offering?

and one last ponder, there is a short scene where the ship crashes to the planet while Fry is trying to steer it, and Bender is supposedly mumbling. If you listen well, it appears he does say something like "I gonna die". Am I imagining it or is it really there? if so, what other things does he say?

I'm sure the writers put that stuff in there to make her a desirable robot for bender to conquer? she DID have leopard print sheets didn't she? and i mean..what else is she going to do in that femputer?

also, I'm sure bender was just babbling... they talk about it a whole bunch on the commentaries... Billy West loves when John DiMaggio babbles when bender is scared or in trouble... it's quite funny.. hee....

Just a female stereotype. I'd rather have the booze.
