In terms of content, I think tnuk stands a good chance of winning. In terms of sheer entertainment value, DrT and winna both stand a good chance.

But the thing is, I like all five of these posters. Could one of the candidates please threaten me in some super-terrifying way so that I'll be forced to vote for them and thus not have to deal with the burden of making a decision of my own free will?

Quite honored to be on this of course, and definitely not voting for myself, but yeah who would've thought I would ever actually fractually make something like this.  And due to several different factors I was so close numbers of times (probably not Boltzmann's Constant) over the past 15 months or so to stopping posting..  Things really did kind of turn around for me lately I guess.  Maychance I should Leave Forever now and quit while I'm ahead.

Wow - this is really tough!  I enjoy posts from all these PEELers.

One makes me alternately laugh, then roll my eyes and groan, then laugh again.
One lightens my mood and reminds me of other places and cultures and attitudes.
One causes me to vacillate between thinking, then raging a bit, then thinking deeper.
One makes me laugh and smile until the smile transforms into a warm, comforting glow in my heart.

And one PEELer has aspects of their personality that evoke all of these feelings, from time to time.  Ergō, I shall be registering my vote for winna.

Heh. It looks like one person has built up an insurmountable lead in this poll. I shall be intrigued to see whether the council decide to let it stand or fly in the face of PEEL's collective whim and simply award it to winna.

I went with km, but it was a really hard decision. tnuk and winna both could have gotten my vote, and Gorky's point up there is valid. But km just has such a unique posting style and it always makes me smile (and weep for my own inadequacy).

-But I do genuinely appreciate any vote though.  I already know I got at least one other one for this, which is very valued, but so based on what tunksten is stating about someone basically already having a large lead, well I guess whatever'll have to bee gud enough for mee...

Really, PEEL? Is there something about these two awards that between them somehow encapsulates and defines the sprit of the PEELies without any need for any of the other trophies? Are they just peripheral to this, the main act?

Droll?  "Amusing in an odd way; whimsically humorous; waggish"?  Hum, I guess that kind of describes me pretty perfectly..  (Amusingly, it apparently meant 'pleasant rascal' in Middle French, tee)  Well, I suppose I occasionally am, or can be, but like many people, I wager n' hedge it comes out better on here.
