Isn't that just all the more reason to vote for him?

Yes. Yes it is.

However, I'm still voting for Motor Oil. I mean, not liking new Green Day helps, but that's setting the bar pretty damn low. :nono:

I voted for Motor Oil again. She continues to prove herself a great poster.

I agree with everyone else regarding Motor Oil. She's an excellent quality poster and has truly earned her place here. That's why I voted for totalnerduk.

Agreed.

Don't I have, like, two POTM wins already? I don't need a third. Points really don't matter. If we constantly award POTM to the same people over and over again, it becomes even more of a meaningless circlejerk than it is alreeady. We need fresh jerks in our circle from time to time.

I'm not just saying that 'cause we had a good month, either. Even in months when PEEL is pretty crappy, there are probably better choices than I. Yes, I know you were joking. I'm just taking the opportunity to exhort people to vote for Motor Oil. Thank you for providing a platform, Meerkat. It would appear that you do have your uses around here.

I voted for Motor Oil. She's earned her place in our magnificent wretched hive of scum and villainy community.

Yes, and she fits in seamlessly with the rest of us misfits.  Two people from my nom list made the poll, so I tossed a coin.  Which I could not locate after it landed and rolled off into the shadowy dimensions into which only cats can see.  So I tossed another coin, with more care, and it landed heads-up.  Therefore I voted for Nutty.

However, I'm still voting for Motor Oil. I mean, not liking new Green Day helps, but that's setting the bar pretty damn low. :nono:

Indeedy. As much as certain people deserve to win POTM over and over again, it's pretty boring (and a little elitist) to vote for the same few people all the time. Not to mention that if new posters feel as if they won't be able to win POTM, that may actually lead to them not trying as hard to post something worthwhile. Maybe. I don't really know.

It's not as if anyone actually derives any sense of self worth from these awards, right?

I have few irl awards.  Positive ones, that is.  I did get an unlikely Peel award once. One which was so tremendously improbable that the most feared mathematicians in the world would cower if asked to calculate the odds.  And in all seriousness?  I treasure it dearly :)

It's nice to see PEEL picking the right person this month. Although, I can't really be too disappointed in anybody who voted for JoshTheater. Or Nutmeg, for that matter.

Still, I'm pleased to see that PEEL's engine was well-lubricated this May.

I'm thinking it'll probably be Nasty Pasty taking June's win, for the PEEL reunion thread, if PEEL's collective memory doesn't get overwritten by a particular moment of greatness between then and now.
