So you three killed naughty Nutmeg after all?
She was just a dream. Also: I agree for making the votes hidden, but I think you should be allowed to change your vote. Is that even possible? Secret poll with the option to change which particular option you went with? That way, I'd say that it's fair. And at the end of the 5th day, if there's a tie, a tie-breaker poll can then be opened. I'd say it influences peoples decisions a lot more when they can see the person in the lead, but I know I've wanted to change my vote before, because I've picked at random and then remembered later something awesome that a different user did.

I don't think that's actually possible, keeping the poll secret and allowing changes. I'm actually three. You're talking to neutral Nutmeg just now. I bound and gagged Nice Nutmeg and Evil Nutmeg It's always the quiet ones...

Could one decline being nominated for a month?

Could one decline being nominated for a month? No. If you're the best poster during a given month, that's entirely your fault and you can't shirk the responsibilities of your behavior.

So, how exactly will ties be handled now in nominations?

So, whoever gets the vote first will be in if it comes to a tie.

Yes, I feel like we should try to figure out the tie procedure (both for nominations and voting) now rather than when it becomes an issue. So, to recap so I'm understanding correctly: - Ties in nominations go to whomever received their last nomination first. (like old times)
- Ties in polls go to a run-off between the top two.
This correct? Was the idea of having a minimum amount of nominations to get into the poll scraped? If you went back to 2006 and informed people that in five years I'd have the word "Moderator" written under my avatar, they'd probably tell you the same thing.
Can we go back to when I had that word under my avatar? Please? I've killed myself once, I'm willing to do it again!
