If you hadn't gone all pedo and gotten yerself locked in the ball pit last night, I would've probably nominated you, but since you did, you were edged out by an inanimate carbon rod.

Oh, I caught the reference, just didn't know if it was a PEELer. In retrospect, it's clearly too long to be a PEELer name.

DrT: I thought the exact same thing when I saw that. I'm almost tempted to change one of my noms.... one of the throw-away ones, like Xanfor.

1) Attention all of you CREGS members here: I agree that Gopher ABSOLUTELY deserves recognition for all of his awesomely awesome work...but the fact stands that he has already won, AND CANNOT WIN, even if he makes it into the poll AND wins the most votes. Faze has won a POTM poll before and it was closed and another one was made. The same would happen with Gopher. While I understand this is an internet popularity contest for nerds, it doesn't mean you can't appreciate that it has some rules.

2) The same goes for Inanimate Carbon Rod. You already saw what happened with That wicked guy.
I'm just saying, there are still many people who deserve to win POTM who are actually qualified for the award. Why waste your nominations when you can help those people get onto the poll?

3) Gopher, you are aware Xanfor has won, right?

4) BOOKS, MAKE YOUR DAMN GENDER SHOW YOU AS A MALE ALREADY!

And actually, I didn't know xanfor had won; I thought he had, but for some reason I searched against the locked potm nom thread from unpeel, which strangely omitted september of '07 altogether and so a search for "xanfor" turned up nothing.

I'll edit the nom post to reflect a new choice.

But my nom for Inanimate Carbon Rod (or InanimateCRod, for short) stands!

And for the record, this isn't a youth soccer league; everyone's not entitled to a trophy!

The rigidity of Josh's thinking is offensive. Gopher done an extraordinary thing in setting up Unpeel so quickly and effectively, surely exceptions can be made to the granting of awards!

What are others thoughts on this?
