I'll vote for Nerd-o, the one I've nominated every month for over a year. In fact, not only is that as a running gag of mine, but he's been one of the top posters for the past year, and this month, he has been the top poster.

And so my campaign for POTM June 2006 comes to a close. Next up: my likely to be unsuccessful run at POTM July 2006, and then, in August, the world!

Well, maybe first another TotPD...then the world!

Juliet, you should feel good about how you did this time. 9 votes is pretty good, considering that you barely got into the poll when I counted up the nominations. Zoidberg, Pixy, and I easily got into the poll, and got limited votes in the poll. Lampy got the most nominations and he got less votes than you. I'm not trying to get on you, but lighten up a bit. It's an award on a message board that was made for an animated sci-fi sitcom. It doesn't count as much to lose as it would if you were Johnny Depp nominated for an Oscar for a dramatic role that pushed you to the limit and lost to Pauly Shore in one of his cliché performances. I'd like to win. I don't have much of a social life outside of PEEL, so winning would be saying "Yay! People like me!", but I wouldn't throw an Oscar party. I wouldn't even throw a party. I'd just be really, really happy all day. If you don't win this year, which is extremely unlikely, wait until the PEELies...if we actually have one next year where the winners are actually announced...

So, now, I'll congratulate Nerd-o on your win this month. Congrats.

That's the way it happens every single month. I'm always everyone's "backup" nomination. The one month I was about to win, Ben got a bunch of people to sign up for the board and vote against me so I lost at the last minute. Right about then was when I decided to stop giving a fuck about this thing. I was already banned anyway.
