2 Questions

1. How come if you go to the members section, a lot of the people have 0 posts, but joined a long time ago?
2. Is it possible to put a smiley in a topic name?

Lazy jerks.  Another question.  I went to edit something I posted on 3/30/04, but when I clicked submit, it says I'm not authorized to perform that function.  What's up with that?

You might have checked delete when editing.  Deleting isn't allowed by members, only moderators can delete posts.  It's either that or.... I don't know.

another possibility is that the thread you posted in has already been closed. once a thread is closed you can't edit your posts there anymore...

Getting in your way? Most threads are not deleted, just locked and they will only lock a thread with good reason. If you have major concerns about something, click the alert button to tell marc.

Click on edit below my post and you'll see how the code is. When you want to post a picture you just rplace the URL with your own.

Right click on the avatar and select "properties".  However I'm not certain if you're able to link PEEL avvies to other sites.

Well you got my vote (after I read your comment, and that you have never been winner I edited my votes).

I'm glad to have my own web space, so that I can put on what I need. But you're doing a great job hosting these pictures and the inoffical PEEL faq (btw. I'm confused. Is it in- or unoffical? I really should get me a dictonary!)

Your first image doesn't work because my host (The Alltoons Cartoon Network) doesn't support hotlinking. Hotlinking is where you link/use to an image from another website.

The fact that the PEEL Uploader on your site doesn't support hotlinking gave me quite a few headaches when it came to getting my birthday animation online, as my FTP host was down temporarily. You need to look into fixing the coding on the second layout, as it doesn't spit out a URL at the end.

Interesting side-note (which is slightly off-topic):

I made Sal's avatar up there, and in order to have him facing the posts, I had to do some quite complicated trickery in order to keep the Chagall painting on his stomach the right way round.
