Perhaps you are loosing your memory, I apologised to you and said I was wrong then. When I apologise for something I don't go off and do the same thing again to somebody else. You clearly are doing exactly what I did last month to you by suggesting Laura shouldn't have won. Laura's Banana posts that I read were in the test thread, everybody knows there is far more leeway given there, I'm not saying there aren't any in other threads, I don't read every post.

As for the "She is a girl" argument there were a few others in this months poll, they didn't get my support, also many other people thought she deserved to win, I only voted for her once.

Sorry Tweek, but your argument's a load of BS.

First of all, I didn't say Laura didn't deserve to win.  I've NEVER said that.  Hell, if TNUK could win it, anyone can!  But she is spammy, and the fact remains that you didn't give her the same hassle you gave me.  And you also voted for Laura in the December 2003 poll, BEFORE your flaming me last month, which leads me to conclude you were singling me out for special "treatment".

And again, you never gave me any explanation as to what it was that upset you.  You're a moderator here, if you honestly had a complaint to make you could've just made it, either directly or through mArc, instead of making a bunch of snide remarks and leaving me guessing as to what the problem was.

As for the "She is a girl" argument, over the last six months, 17 of your 18 PotM nominations have been for women, and five of your six votes have been for women.  Significantly, the only time you voted for a male PEELer was when I was leading and NibblerJr. was second:

Fred, on the first point I apologised last month, I said I was wrong, there is nothing more I can do.

As to why I have the last words in threads I close, I believe that it is best that the moderator who closes a thread says that they are doing it and why, some mods might prefer not to, it is their choice.

Okay, I accept your apology.  Sorry for dredging the argument up again, but I honestly felt that I'd been singled out for harsh treatment last month compared to HJS this month.

Anyway, hopefuly this month I've proved that I can do spam-free posting (100 posts in 39 days, and ALL on-topic), and I think it speaks volumes that besides aslate, you and I are the only ones posting on-topic in this thread.

EDIT: There was a discussion about n00bs a while back, and I argued that I was only kinda half n00b, but now I see that I really was.  OK, I've been registered since February 13.  That's 4 months in 6 days.  I have been a regular, I've always been spam-free, and I'm now a Starship Captain.  Have I outgrown the position of n00b?

Unfortunetly, I dont think so. I registered in March and am a Liquid Emperor but PEELers dont take rank into consideration, only signup date. I think you're not a n00b after 6 months at PEEL.

PS: Congrats at reaching Captain dude. It's about friggin time.

They take both post quality, and count into consideration. You're a newb because you tend to spam. There are people who are still "newbs" after a year or two, and there are people like GFF who sign up and instantly start making quality posts.

I know that when I started I was really annoying, starting threads for each question I had, and I apologize for that, but I try not to spam anymore.  Give me examples of me spamming and I'll prove you wrong or apologize.  And @Nasty Pasty: We don't all post 30 times a day, man.

Yeah but that comment he made about gay men was just disgusting.  If it was a joke it was of very bad taste but I really don't think he was.  Then he didn't even have the balls to keep the post up and edited that past of it.  So we know he also doesn't have the courage to stand by his opinions.  The little worm.

However, I didn't think it would be a good idea, because I have a feeling that that wasn't really PCC Fred. I've never seen such a horrible thread started by him. And, he knows how to spell. 
Hopefully, the mods will not penalize him for this... I don't think he's responsible.

A polite request - Nasty Pasty (and a few others, but this springs to mind) - if you're going to have a picture in your sig, that's great, but could you only post it once per page? In the link I gave above in 10 posts your sig appears 3 times...I thought we had an unwritten rule that pictures should only appear every page in sigs...

That is a bit of a pain, it is more painful when people use an animated gif as their sig several times on a page though.
