I was just browsing through the members list and saw a number of people that joined up to 2 years ago and havn't posted once! whats the point? Personally i think they should be e-mailed and told that thier membership will be removed therefore making more room for people that have somthing to say

People who don't post hardly take up any "room". Maybe they just wanted to have a fast way to post in case they saw a need.

What about members that never contribute something positive and are always pissing people off for no good reason?

They're usually banned, I believe. The Mods take care of them real fast.

And on a completely unrelated matter, good work modfellas!

Yes this is one of the only forums I have been to where the moderators do their jobs and do them well! I hate it when I see noob idiots complaining that their threads are closed/moved/no one replied. I was a noob (and probably still am) and I don't take it personally, or rather just avoid making unnecessary new threads. Anyway, ignore them mods as of course you do, this forum is perhaps the best I have had the pleasure of posting on!

I aggree that the mods on this site are probably the best in the world. But back to the topic, I still think that if they had any intension of posting they would have done it in the last 2 years already.

People can leeve and then decide to come back years later, just ask Spice Weasel.

Besides the dead accounts doesn't take up any space or resources as such since they're just static information in the database. So deleting them or not would have no effect on PEEL. Sorry, but I fail to see what the point would be (other than create more work for mArc  ;) ).

There was a similar discussion about removing members who don't post on the Apolyton.net forums when it was having overload problems. The conclusion was drawn that it would make no noticeable difference to the speed or reliablility of the forums and would annoy people who came back to post years later to find their accounts had been removed, like Teral said.

All the crap members of the board should suffer the fate of being made mods and having nOObs whine at them 24/7.

Ah, I see mArc's way ahead of me.

On this topic i'm gonna give up and be defeated. I thought that a database of a hell of a members would take up a lott of space. I was wrong.

Is "eviler" even a word?  Margarita is far more evil than Jeremy.  Jeremy is evil in  a Dr. Evil kinda way.  Margie is evil in a Hanson world tour sponsored by Microsoft kinda way.

Yes, I've won several.

Guy, (I can't remember your name, and I'm damn sure not going to press "back" ) only a 10 year old would use the word eviler. (well, you and Dubya) So.......yeah, I don't really have a point. Keep reaching for the stars!

Oh, so that's why there's a poll...I see.

When I was ten I would run into a wall so many times until I learned to spell rightly. Oh, whoops, didn't work   ;)
