A sub-forum dedicated to CGEF?

See, I know we have a web-site forum, but I got the idea that maybe CGEF could use it's own forum for related CGEF comments/suggestions/submissions.

It'd be much more organized than using the web-site forum and myself, Andie, and Marc could browse the topics in search for information for CGEF more easily...  (ie, someone submits a fan art for cgef using a thread instead of emailing it to andie which is basically sending it to hell anyway)

it just seems cgef is lacking a little now with certain content, and for some unknown reason I think this would work good.

I don't see how this would help us. People will send in things by email (and still do) when they notice that it gets actually uploaded. A forum wouldn't change a thing about the sluggishness in that regard. We'd just have lots of duplicate content matching the fan submitted forum. My vote goes with no.

If CGEF had a Forum created then the other Futurama Sites like FSAC, TFP, TFH, OAOB etc etc would also have a right to their own category as well.  In which cast this board would change radically, so I'm voting No, as mArc said there reallly is no point, as people will submit to sites when they want to.

We have a website forum, stick with that. CGEF if big enough anyway.

No. Aren't CGEF and PEEL only meant to be associated sites? Making a dedicated forum to CGEF alone would make PEEL a subsidiary of CGEF.

I know they're run by the same guys, but the description of CGEF say "Visit our strong going affiliate PEEL. Once part of CGEF...", and I think it's a good thing.

Besides everybody who know email, can get in contact with the CGEF staff.

Anyway, I see all your points, and they all make sense.  I sorta forgot that peel is a community board, not just 'the cgef board'.

I think CGEF should have it's own forum.  I also think mArc should create an entirely new message board dedicated to how much Red5 and I hate Alain Prost.  And we should win prizes by posting there!  I also think all female PEELers should worship me for the god I am!
