this probably cant be done but i was wondering if i could somehow change my name, see i picked this one since i dint reckon thered be any other aussies on this board. now it seems there are tons.

I don't think you can. The only one I knew who changed his name, was Nixorbo. And I think mArc did that.

And even that was an exception.  I brought it up one time, and I think the only solution is to re-register.

I see you have made 87 posts so far.  How hard can it be to re-register and make another 87 or so. 
You wouldn't be the first person that to do it.

Changing you're name is a waste of time, it messes things around

His name wasn't changed, he got a new name and mArc added the old names post count to the new name, his old name posts are still under that old name.

In conclusion, the only way to get a new username is to reregister.
