It's just a very frequent question. Almost everybody asks it.

You "do" it by adding some variation of "Does TOTP Dance" at the end of your Top-Of-The-Page message. Look around and you'll see all kinds of twists based on the TOTPD.

No, it 's just that I already explained to another person what TOTPD is.

You can do it by just typing "TOTPD" under your post. 
Each page has 40 posts. So if you 're the one after the 40th post, you go to the bottom of a new page.

You will often only notice that you 're on top, after you posted.  Then, you can use the edit button on the bottom of your post.

I don't think anyone has told you before.  He probably means he's explained it to others before.  It's also explained in the FAQ.

To do a top of the page dance, you simply type "top of the page dance" or "TOTPD" with your post, when you post at the top of a new page.  For some reason this is considered funny around here.

Top of the page dancing is just for fun, so you don't have to do one if you don't want to.  It's not really important.
