Easy Futurama Smilies?

Would it be possible to turn those little header icons of Futurama characters into smilies to be used in the actual post?

For example:

would yield


Is this a good idea, or should I shut up now?

I'll have to ask "why", too. There is no expressiveness in them, i'd think. Or if there is, it's so weak that I don't know about it.

In those Particular Futurama icons, I agree with mArc, not enough expression. I'm not closing the door on the thought though, with the correct icons it would be cool, and add identity to PEEL .

I agree, they do not convey anything.
More normal smileys would be good, I think a lookin sly or shifty smiley is needed.

hmm. torq might have a point there, but i don't see the need for futurama smilies as, like marc said, they don't show an emotion.

Well they could be used for quotes and stuff. Or Sarge's old gag of posting "in character". Instead of writing

you could say

Don't hit me!

It's probably not worth the effort, but I thought I'd go ahead and point out that the smiley faces wouldn't be totally useless.
