I like how Randi has put her avatar to use now. Joining the pre-Thanksgiving festivities, eh?

I thought that was a skull before I realized it was a polar bear. If you keep the polar bear, you've got to turn the coffee into Coke. :)

Oh right, I forgot about Thanksgiving. The perfect avatar for that is the one with Fry pouring gravy on the turkey on his head, I think it is a pool avatar.

That's a TNUK level avy.

I'm assuming you're using "TNUK" in place of "epic" here.

So, it's not possible? Is there too much detail in the image or do you find stealing faces ethically disagreeable in some way?

Alright so I still have white bits in my new avatar.. Would anyone care to help me with the background?
Thanks.

What picture did you use for it? Cleaning up the white is easy but I just want a chance to make a better one if poss (it's a bit uncolourful tbh).

Ah, 'tis a most ugly image. I'm not good at fixing that sort of thing. But here's the trimming done (hopefully):

Proof! Plus reasonable excuse for a double post.

Edit: I have said this so many times, but I never get to post tests in this thread on the grey background. It should be 50/50, but in my experience it is ~80/20 in favour of white backgrounds for me. I choose to interpret this as me being a jovial good guy and inherently drawn to the lighter side of life. Unfortunately jovial good guys tend to be chopped down in most stories in favour of the better looking, humourless, slight bastard (but not enough of a bastard to make you hate him) - TV tropes citation needed.

Where an antihero exists, I'd say that this is a justified trope. So become the antihero, and it shouldn't happen again.

sos: The preview post background is gray. The background inside of a quote box is white. You can easily test both backgrounds without actually posting even once, as so:

Code: [Select]
on white...
on grey...

I think I need a Christmas Avatar. Maybe my Leela avy wearing a Santa Hat?
Can someone do that?
Seems simple enough....

Totally, start by replacing that pink bow with mistletoe. maybe make the cups peppermint swirls. I dunno, I am just throwing ideas out there for whoever wants to attempt it.

Just draw a candy-cane striped dildo in the hand that Leela is supporting herself with.

Yes. The Pikachu ears are staying. For a while. I like them too much. Unless someone feels the need to make them antlers for xmas.

So I got bored and tried to do my own in MS Paint.

The outfit looks good, but the avy itself got all screwed up in the process, losing res and no longer transparent

Very quick effort from scratch. I don't normally do this for fans of the prequels but 'tis the season. Well, not yet but it will be.

btw, as far as I am aware you just can't make an avatar in Paint.

If memory serves me correctly, you did not make your current avy.  You went from having the "shark" one to this one when it was posted in.....was it the funny picture thread?
