I know this may seem like a shameless plug, but I can imagine it would help conversations in the on-topic area to have a tag to link directly to an article on the Infosphere.  This is considering there already is a WikiPEELia tag, which I am not against, but this tag (that I speak of) may be used more often.

From a technical perspective, it is pretty much of a form of syntactical sugar for the already existing url-tag.

Examples:
Code: [Select]
"[infosphere]Space Pilot 3000[/infosphere]".
Would produce:

"Space Pilot 3000".

With the url-tag:

Code: [Select]
[url=http://theinfosphere.org/Space_Pilot_3000]Space Pilot 3000[/url].
Should you want to link to something else than you intend to write, an optional argument could be provided.

Code: [Select]
[infosphere=Space Pilot 3000]The first episode[/infosphere].
Would produce:

The first episode.

With the url-tag:

Code: [Select]
[url=http://theinfosphere.org/Space_Pilot_3000]The first episode[/url].
It is possible that the name of the "[infosphere]" could be shorten to "[is]" or "[wiki]".

preeetty sure I suggested this to [-mArc-] when PEEL 2 was in public beta, and was shot down.

I still think it's a good idea, tho, and it would be exceptionally simple, especially since there's already [wikipeelia]wikipeelia tags[/wikipeelia].
