That table seems to neglect the ;puke; simile.   

P.S. Does PEEL 2 have a way to dereference a character so that I don't have to 'misspell', say, the name of a smilie that I want to write rather than invoke?

Slash ('/') kind of works but it also gets displayed e.g. /:puke:

To be more informative than my last response to your statement.  Quick Reply will probably never add your signature to your post.

mArc created a quick reply function in PEEL 1 for two reasons:

A. Allow posters to make a reply without having to go to a new page
B. Cut down on signatures by making it so that people would use quick post more

It's a really good trade-off.  Basically mArc doesn't like a billion trillion garrish images on a page at once.  It's the reason we standardized 64x64 pixel avatars... something I have to agree with.

We also have an unwritten rule that you shouldn't overuse your signatures... so they're kind of special.  And since they're special, if you want to show yours, you'll go to the trouble of using the regular post function to add it to your posts.

You'd have to find/make a transparent version of that emoticon though. And I still don't feel like that emoticon gives the correct emotion; it looks more constipated or in pain than anything to me.
