how about at the top of each page someone puts a "can i pots this" thread so all the newbs will know what they can and cant say, they will ask a question and someone will answer it.
it will be an interactive faq.

Well there is this thread

Besides that, maybe these n00bs could just read the FAQ's that other memebers link.  And dont say you havent said it, GFF is a n00b stalker, he has linked you the fryhole faq, and there is one right at the top of every page.  Besides that, most questions have already been answered, its just that people dont bother looking and reading.  It helps!

To give you a longer answer of what my Amy already told you, I will quote an answer to that exact same question I made nearly two months ago:

The Annoying Little Futurama Question Thread

The reasons are stated in it as well, here is the post Teral made which covers it:

No, it have something to do with people not knowing it exist. Believe me we've had dozens of these type of threads over the years and none of them work, because they don't get enough posts to stay on page 1.

Which means that these threads simply get out of people's and especially newb's eyes, because it gets pushed down and then to page 2.

you might add that why it couldn't be some kind of thread sticked to the top. Ok, the answer is quite easy: PEEL doesn't support these   ;)

So in conclusion: The idea is good and has been started before, but then again doomed to fail.
