admins., moderaters, I was wondering if there could be a new forum discussion just for posting topics about AL3. I'm really into AL3, and it would be cool if we could do it. (there was another codebreakers chatroom, but is now shutdown)

I don't even think we could fill up a thread with information about an alien language we're not even sure exists. Some months ago, a forum for ways to get the show back was proposed, and that was shut down right away. It would have been shut down if I didn't shut it down, but hey, you know.

but it would be cool to have a forum where you could post pics of AL sightings and look for some new symbols and post them. You gotta admit, that would be pretty cool.(how could you shutdown the entire forum if you're just an urban legend, not a administrator or mod.?)

I didn't shut down the forum, I just shut down the idea. It was proposed and I turned the thread into a flamefest, so it didn't get anywhere. Take a look for yourself.

Like I said before, posting stuff related to alien languages is something that would be better suited for its own thread in Re-check/weird scenes. There's just not enough information to make it a separate forum.

In response to Nordy's post: It wouldn't have gotten its own forum anyway because it's a stupid idea that gives newcomers false hope.

He means he helped kill the idea with his incessant newb-flaming.  It never got to be an actual forum.  Also, go to CGEF or TLZ if you want to look at AL sightings.

Seriously now Benderboy123:

Peel won't make another board just for Alien languages. As TLI pointed out, some Peelers proposed to create a new board for music and video games, and it was denied.
All Alien-laguage sightings have been discovered and because of Futurama beeing cancelled, there won't be any new ones.

Also, as Teral already stated in another thread, there are too few sightings of AL3 to decode it.
I think the writers have planned to use it more often, but as I alrady said, Futurama is cancelled.

Go through the Re-checked/Weird Scenes Board (use the search-function) you'll find enough threads about Alien Languages there.       :)

Beside that, the field of Alien Languages is just too small to deserve a whole board of it's own.

well, AL3 could have letters that decode into 3 english letters in real life. so those few sightings could have 15 letter words in them.

Are you still pushing this? Give it up already, it's a shitty idea. We already explained it to you more than once why. Leave us alone now.

AS GFF already said we have exactly one 5-letter word that's most likely AL3 and 2 words that are maybe AL3, no Rosetta stone, no knowledge if the ĉanguage was even used, and consideringan eventuel AL3 would be more complicated than AL2 a new forum would have exactly one thread named "AL3, can it be dechiffered?".

1st post: "Well, can it?"
2nd post: "No."
3rd post: :Tweek closes the thread:

In short I agree with Lampy.

The closest we got to an AL3 thread was this (by the looks of it): Alient Language 3.

As you can see, we didn't even get enough posts to fill one page. Feel free to continue that thread if you want, but a forum for it won't get anywhere.
