Fox aired a commercial showing what shows of theirs were nominated. The Simpsons, Arrested Development(7 emmys) , and Malcom in The Middle.

For Some reason Fox chose not to show that Futurama was nominated for 2 Emmys. Gee wonder why.

Because Fox doesn't show Futurama any more?  They'd effectively be advertising for a different network?

no they dont. FOX still owns the rights to the show, CN just has the right to play it's reruns. If CN did own it, there'd be a much better chance of new episodes.

Futurama was mentioned in the Emmy announcement on the official Fox site.  Most of those pictures are links to pages about the shows they depict.  Guess which one doesn't have a link....

Malcom in the Middle? But, seriously It's alright that Fox doesn't mention the show on its emmy nomination commericial. It would make a Futurama win even more funny because it's not often a cancelled show wins emmy's.

Gee, what a coincidence. But still advertising Futurama would encourage people to watch CN when they could be watching something on Fox, so I think Nixorbo is right.

If, and I hope, Futurama wins both of their nominations, someone at fox should see that the show is performing well on Adult Swim, and just maybe get that second chance everyone here wants... here's to hoping, more.

Ya know, come to think of it, they could at least link to the Futurama dvd page that does exist.  It would, after all, be in their best interests to promote the dvds at least.

Oh well, at least the aknowledge it at all.
