Simpsons cannot compare

Hi people,

I love futurama, as im sure you all do, and also like most of you, i grew up with simpsons. And although they have been played to death here in australia, theyre still entertaining. EXCEPT for the new episodes, or even the recent, well hell even since well the animation became stale, The charaters became annoying ( im talking bout u lisa) and even the writers of the now shit show realised how outdated and old it really is. Then there was futurama, its new clever fresh, FRESH!! i cant stress that enough, Most 15-30 yr olds can relate to Fry, or bender, and so on and yeah. WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY IS CANCEL SIMPSONS. the new episodes are so terrible, even a lifetime fan like me cannot watch a while episode... when that happens u know a shows shit. DOes anyone else agree??? Does anyone find them funny? It seems that simpsons are just getting more (random) by the show, and while family guy can get away with it, th simpsons cant, GUVE IT UP!!!!!! and sorry to anyone who actually read my ramblings, i just miss futurama and blame the simpsons for it

This mast 59,857th time someone has said something like this on this forum in the last couple of years. I don't know what season your up to of Simpsons but its been toning down the randomness in the last couple of years and it has nothing to do with futurama being cancelled. You wouldn't have had futurama at all were it not for the Simpsons.
If they cancelled it Fox would probably just replace it with some reality show thats even worse than the worst simpson episode.

And let's be honest here, Futurama could've reached the same point as The Simpsons had it gone on for another 4 seasons. It wasn't given much of a chance to get stale.
