Nice touch in Leela's Homeworld when Fry goes to the orphanarium to get information on her. When the guy's talking and grabbing the note from the folder Fry's impatiently standing there slapping the sides of his hips.

That's weird, The Pizzazz--my dad doesn't like Zoidberg at all. Both my parents seem to be Leela fans.

My dad's favorite character is Zoidberg too.

i thought that the song/montage sequence at the end of leela's homeworld was a nice touch.  anybody know the name of that song, for my own listening pleasure?

This was mentioned somewhere on PEEL - but as far as I remember it was: Pizzicato Five - Baby Love Child (you can find it of www.aboutleela.ru)

thanks swidzi, i also think that the way the words of fry in the sting actually make sense for the most part to the story.  i don't know how they managed to script that episode so that both realty and the visions of leela make sense.

Being a shipper I like the cute moment between Leela and Fry at the end of 'The Why of Fry', of course the extra "yes" from Fry makes it all the more amusing.

I don't know if this was mentioned before, but in "Anthology Of Interest II", when Bender burps a stream of fire and hits Fry on the arm, I like it when Fry tries to pat it out.

But if he was a scarecrow, wouldn't trying to pat out the fire put his hand on fire? Anyone? Oh, never mind.

W00t! ^^ Heh, I just finished watching A Pharaoh to Remember with mum. She really liked it, also pointed out how well done it was. I also showed her The Sting recently, but I don't think she quite...got it  :hmpf: I explained the end to her and she commented it was sweet. But dammit, I was sorta hoping that would convert her to Futuramism! I have this need making everyone watch/like Futurama...heh, just about two weeks ago I converted my friend in class to it   ;)

So that was off-topic.

Well, we could comment on any specific "nice touch moment" that won over our newly-converted friends...if I had any. (Converts, not friends.)

Aww, that sounded touchingly pathetic for a second. "...if I had any". But yeah, I got your point  ;) I unfortunately don't have a specific scene that converted my friend. Actually, I believe she got excited because I cover everything that's white and drawable with F scribbles!

Although, a nice touch from *us*. I, and my two Futurama friends (one was already a fan, the second is the newly-converted) had a Futurama-marathon last week! That's right. 6 hours of constant Futurama. I haven't had such fun in months, I tell ya!! We picked the best of all 4 seasons. I believe that was her final push into Futuramism  :D

I believe the "final push" (Wow, that sounds kinda profane...) for my friend was when Lrrr got high off of the hippie in "The Problem with Popplers." Unfortunately, she got tired of Futurama after awhile, but still likes Bender-centered episodes like "A Phaoroh to Remember." Bender's probably won over so many fans...

I didn't like A Pharoh to remember that much, it's one of my least favorites and I've seen it the least amount of times too(3times)that's not alot compared to the episodes I watch alot. Anyway one of my favorite "Nice touch moments" is in The Sting when Seymour's fossil is lying against Fry's coffin.

Philp_J_Fry can I have your e-mail address?

I loved it in A Big Piece of Garbage, when Fry is supposed to hit the launch button, then misses. Had me laughing.

AsaB, my friend didn't quite "get" The Sting either. He enjoyed it, but he's seen mostly Season 1 episodes, so he didn't quite get why Fry was in love with Leela.

I think there's a good little moment in Love And Rocket--Leela kind of supporting Fry when they walk in on Bender. It's a bit hard to explain why it was so great (aside from the shippiness factor), but I love it anyway.

Just tell your dad that strangers from the internet want you to have your own account. That should convince him.

If you don't have an e-mail add., are you using your dad's? I was gonna use my mom's, by decided to use mine, so that if I show it on my profile, she won't  get e-mail's from people she's never meet before.

What a shame, I wanted to e-mail you.   :D

I don't see why. Most PEELers are harmless losers who are incapable of pleasuring a woman hurting anyone.

You never know until you try.

On topic: when you see Bender crying in front of the nebula, and you see his elbows moving in and out.

Wooter - SHE'S 13!!!

I like everything about the tripped-out bender sequence in 'hell is other robots', it's genius, escpecially the 'humunahhumunah' noise Bender makes.  :D

Thanks Zmithy.   :p Just kidding.

I love it in ABBFT when Fry is riding that animal and he says jump, then it just crashes through the wall. After he says good boy.

edit: Damn spelling errors.

@Zmithy: I never said with her! By "you" I meant "I" I'll never know until I try. I simply used the phrase "You never know until you try" because it is a common saying, and it sounds less pathetic.

I like the way that the atom of jumbonium bobs up and down on top of the tiara in that one episode.
