I know this poll was mentioned on CGEF last week, but it's a weekly poll and Futurama won last week! For anyone who doesn't know, CBBC is the children's side of the BBC, and so if Futurama wins a few weeks in a row it might actually get some publicity on the CBBC front page, or even on the BBC site.

I know, I'm clutching at straws, but straws are all we have  :(

Wow, the british must not think much of themselves - 7 out of the 10 nominees are American.

True, but to be honest most of the good tv over here is from the US. Although we *did* come up with Who's Line Is It Anyway?  :)

Well, obviously. Never really been a big fan of Ted though, not sure why as it is very funny...

I voted. We better get some more though, we need to catch up to The Simpsons and Friends.

We easily beat the others last week, but I think that's because CGEF had it on their news page, and lots of people read it and voted.

So we're trying to rig a children's poll? I'm cool with that.

Well I tried, but the site said the page was not found, when I clicked on vote. Not like one vote ever counted though...

I had it since it first came up on CGEF, so it's not like it's a one-off error either.

I think my age groups got the peak of CBBC's programming with shows such as "The Queen's Nose" and "The Deamon Headmaster", both before they went crappy. However, when i get home early now and see what's on, it's very rubbish programming.

I never watch CBBC, ever. In fact the last time I watched it was when I was seven and liked blue peter. You are right about the programming aslate, there is not a single good show on terrestrial nowadays (luckily I have cable)

I've noticed that in the early mornings when CBBC switches over to CBeebies, they don't have the terribly forced-happy song for each day of the week.

"It's Monday it's Monday, it's bound to be....fun-day"

Oh they were great. Especially when they tried to rhyme stuff with Wednesday.

I voted, even though I'm not British and I've never heard of this 'CBBC' thing... also, Farscape disqualified because of evidence of cheating? Heh.

Damn...we're not doing well enough. I guess we'd need everyone to vote every week for a little while to keep winning.

And then they'd probably assume cheating was going on, I mean who's ever seen that show Futurino anyway?

I thought that format *was* a US import. Certainly most of the players were American.

Aren't there a couple different versions of whose line? I did hear that it originated in the UK. Anyway i voted, but in think Friends will win because the of the timing of the last episode.

Hmmmm...I always thought that the version with Clive Anderson was the original. One of the reasons I thought this was I believed it finished over here quite a while before it finished in the US, but was very successful over here too.

On Topic:

We really are catching up folks. Friends is only 9% ahead of Futurama, and we still have until Sunday. If everyone votes once a day, we could easily overtake, which would be quite impressive considering Friends just finished in the UK. Of course...it's not so impressive when you remember we're trying to win a children's web poll....but shhhh.

Well, considering shows like Angel have showed up there as well, one wonders how many children using it are actually... not.    :)

Also, when I tried to vote for the first few days, the list never came up.    Oh well, I got there eventually.

Only 5% in it now. Still got three days of voting left, we can easily win this as I've been watching the total votes number and it hasn't climbed much. All the votes recently have been for Futurama  ;)
