I'm a *BUMP*-in' machine today...

For some reason, the Nibblonians preparing Leela a bag lunch and some mittens in "The Day the Earth Stood Stupid" tickles me endlessly. It's the mittens part that gets me, I think--like, it's not cold outside, so why would she require mittens? And why would anyone think to pair that particular article of clothing up with a bag lunch? It's such a silly, quasi-maternal thing to do, and I can't help but find it hilarious.

From the Prisoner of Benda: "Whoever you are, you're the bravest robot I've ever seen. I like killing brave things." The fact that didn't even get a laugh at the table read (where they laugh at EVERYTHING) tells me it wasn't meant to be much of a joke, but I was in stitches after hearing it.
