Just rewatched A Head in the Polls and "Ford: Frankly, I've never felt voting to be all that essential to the process. Nixon: No kidding, Ford." made me laugh out loud. Oh, man. I also didn't remember and really liked Leela's "I have a better plan."

And speaking of "A Head in the Polls": I always laugh uncontrollably at Nixon telling his beloved dog Checkers to "SHUT UP, DAMN IT!" His hostility is so unexpected and disproportionate to the situation, and it just amuses the hell out of me.

just to mention a few

And I wish there were more Daffodil quotes. Hot diggity daffodil!

I have been perusing this site for a couple days now. I am somewhat of a new fan of the show. I love this site though.

That being said the joke that makes me laugh every time I think about it, is on "the series has landed," when leela asks if they can borrow some oxygen and the farmer says; "Borrow? Listen here city girl oxygen doesn't grow on trees." Obviously the pun was intended but the way it was said gets me rolling.

Hey, downgraded bender. Welcome to PEEL; it's great to have you. :)

I love "The Series Has Landed" in its entirety, but what makes that moment you mention even better, to me, is the fact that the farmer says "borry," not "borrow." Such a funny, hillbilly-ish pronunciation.

Also: My gets-me-every-time moment from "The Series Has Landed" is definitely the exchange between Bender and Amy at the crane machine. "I know how to make love!"

Were you just singing?
Nope. Not allowed to sing; court order.

Hahahahaha I just rewatched it. And you are absolutely right.. "borry." Fantastic episode all the way through

I love the way Calculon says "Son of a Bit!" in TBWABB, I often use that in real life.

Also, in the Zapp's Speech easter egg on ITWGY, I love the way Billy West makes Zapp pronounce geyser as "geezer". :laff:

Here are but a few of mine:

In the BBFT episode when the planet express crew arrives for Leela's wedding and Fry welcomes them from his little prison cell.
In the Titanic episode when bender says "I'm a poor, lazy, sexy fraud".
"With blackjack and hookers...".
"Hopes.... Deleted".
In WNFHGB "Like a balloon... And something bad happens".
"I am your friend... Bonder". "Bonder is it really you?!".

This one is strange, but I always think of the part in the first episode, it's just after Bender get's shocked by the lightbulb and they escape the room in the head museum, leela shouts "Wait" and Bender says "no thanks". For some reason that always makes me laugh.

Damn you Peelified.  It started out as me just googling when Season 6 might hit netlix streaming.  Then I stumble to here.

Now I'm watching Futurama instead of studying for my VCP and it's all your fault!

Incidentally:  Zoidberg's expression and the way he said "What?" in The Tip of the Zoidberg - where the Professor says they can almost understand each other without words?  I about died laughing.

Hooray, we've trapped another one! You can waste many, many more hours not studying if you stick around.

It's true.  It's bad (Or good news everyone?) that I watch Futurama at work all the time, but now when I'm trying to get something done to keep working I get distracted by it :O

That's a lie, it's not bad at all, I <3 Futurama.

From the episode a Clone of My Own:  When the Professor shows his universal translator and says "so far it only translates into an incomprehensible dead language. " and the translator says "Bonjour!"  I laughed hard.

'AAAARGH! ... I really like it.'

I believe in the French version of Futurama, it's Italian. "Buon giorno!"

I was watching Fry and the Slurm factory recently, and this part had me in uncontrollable laughter:

"Ohh, flowers! And a boat!"  :laff:

I wish I knew why it was so funny though...

Haha, I registered here a couple days ago because I didn't want to study for my exam the next day...

That's not strange at all... I often wish I were running away from somebody only for them to say "Wait," just so I can have the awesome opportunity to shout "No thanks" at them. It would be epic, I say!

Anyways, the first time I watched Overclockwise, I could not stop laughing at the part where Bender is leaving Planet Express, Fry asks him to stay or whatever, and Bender stops and gives this amazing grimacing look to Fry. I don't know why, but that look alone was the highlight of an already amazing episode for me.

My oldest post existing in the PEEL archive:

I almost died laughing when the professor stepped on Nibbler. The little pest.

Edit - This was in Bicyclops Built for Two.

I also wanted Zoidberg to eat Nibbler.

I really like any moment that subtly insults the viewer's intrinsic, unchangeable nature, such as when people refer to the 20th/21st centuries as the stupid ages, or when a robot or alien insults humans. These are all pretty much round-about insults on the person watching the show.

"Oh, come on, he's just a poor kid from the Stupid Ages."
"That's what I wanted you to think with with your soft, human brain."
"Detecting trace amounts of mental activity. Possibly a dead weasel or a cartoon viewer."

A few things that always make me laugh:
- Bender's angry eyes
- Calculon talking/singing about himself
- Zoidberg's pronuciation of "robot" (robut)

Correction: Robit

Anyway, every scene in "Raging Bender" from the beginning to the end of the movie theatre scene is just plain hilarious. Also when Fry says: "OW my sperm!" in FaTSF just cracks me up

No, its technically "rohbit"!

I also like Farnsworth "putting too much emphasis on the H" and Zapp's constant mispronunciation of words.

Just kidding, I also love the professors accent. I wonder if he met Brian G. and they had some "Cool Quip" together. That wouldn't go very well...:laff:

This one always makes me laugh more than I think it should:

From Bender's Game, when Titanius Anglesmith is describing the dire situation to King Roberto and he finishes with "and a dog will be seen eating catfood in the land!"

Also "What a brilliant legal shenanigan!" from Overclockwise.

I like how Zoidberg says that Clamps "is in fact a bad murderer!" in Silence of the Clamps. Just basically because he was talking like a child...
